A key capability highlighted was VANTAGE's support for planning and executing amphibious and littoral operations, enabling Marines to train one of their defining operational maneuvres within a realistic digital environment. The platform supports complex force compositions, allowing units to be carried by other units recursively—for example, drone teams embarked aboard rigid inflatable boats (RIBs), transported by landing craft, or inserted via MV-22 Ospreys before deploying independently. This hierarchical force representation closely mirrors real-world military organizations and greatly enhances operational realism during planning, training, experimentation, and operational analysis.
