Sea-Air-Space 2026 provided an outstanding venue to engage with military leaders, government organizations, and industry partners focused on maritime and joint-force modernization.

LEVATO demonstrated VANTAGE during the "Gaming to Win" session, where multiple organizations showcased innovative approaches to defence wargaming and simulation. Alongside demonstrations from the U.S. Marine Corps University, the U.S. Naval Academy, and other contributors, the session explored how modern wargaming technologies are supporting education, experimentation, operational planning, and capability development.

Signature events of Sea-Air-Space 2026—the Gaming to Win panel hosted by the Center for Maritime Strategy. The panel brought together a distinguished group of wargaming practitioners representing military education, commercial innovation, professional wargaming organizations, and the broader defense analytical community. Panelists included Tim Barrick of Marine Corps University Krulak Center, Dr. Daveed Gartenstein-Ross of Expert Theory Gaming, Phil Pournelle of the Center for Maritime Strategy, and Dr. Yuna Wong of the Women's Wargaming Network. The discussion was moderated by Christopher Steinitz, Senior Research Scientist for Gaming and Integration at CNA.

The panel generated engaging discussions on the evolving role of digital wargaming, AI-assisted decision support, interoperability, and the importance of combining human expertise with objective analytical tools. The strong interest confirmed the growing demand for flexible digital wargaming platforms capable of supporting today's multidomain operational environment.

The conversation highlighted how wargaming is rapidly evolving from a planning and educational tool into a critical capability for force design, concept development, operational analysis, and strategic decision-making. Equally important, the event demonstrated the strength of the growing wargaming community by bringing together government, academia, industry, and international partners to exchange ideas and challenge assumptions.

For LEVATO, the event was especially valuable because it provided an opportunity to demonstrate the VANTAGE digital wargaming platform to representatives from the U.S. Coast Guard and international partners. Those discussions and live demonstrations may not have been possible without Sea-Air-Space serving as the venue that convened decision-makers, operators, and innovators in one location. It was another reminder that the greatest value of conferences like Sea-Air-Space is not only the formal presentations, but also the collaborations and partnerships that emerge between them.
